From Richard D. – Just a few days to go before we can resume club running!
Monday March 29th sees the removal of the “stay at home“ restriction, and group exercise and activity can take place, including running, initially in groups of no more than 6.
So we will restart club running at 8pm on the 29th. As with last year, some protocols need to be followed to keep each other safe. In summary:
Before the run: Don’t come if you have symptoms, or have not renewed your subscriptions (the club would not be covered by EA insurance).
Remain distanced and assemble in groups in the club car park. Listen in to briefing on route and precautions by run leader. (This is the trickiest time for distancing, please afford space to other runners and in particular any other sports club members accessing and leaving the club).
During the run: maintain strict social distancing throughout, between yourselves, other runners, riders and public.
After the run: Please disperse quickly and safely. If in any doubt, err on the side of caution and wait a few weeks.
